Quick Tip: Is it time to check your brakes? Here are a few things to watch.
- Worn pads. If the pads are thin on a visual inspection they may need to be replaced.
- Strange sounds. These sounds can be a squeaking before or after you press the brake pedal or a more serious grinding sound.
- Pulling or Vibrations - There could be several issues. The car could be out of alignment, front suspension may need an adjustment, bad brake pads or a bad brake disc.
- Brake pedal - The pedal behavior could also be a sign. Watch for a pedal that goes all the way to the floor or a pedal that grabs or sticks.
